Jazmine Sullivan

JazmineJazmine Marie (b. 9 April 1987), is an American R&B/soul singer. She was born and raised in Philadelphia Her debut album, Fearless was released in the year 2008. This album topped Billboard's Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums Chart and was made platinum by Recording Industry Association of America. The album was a success, spawning four songs, including "Need U Good" as well as "Bust Your Window" and both of them made the top 40 of the Billboard Hot 100 charts. It was the first time Sullivan had a highest-rated single in the Billboard Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs chart. Sullivan then followed up with her sophomore studio album, Love Me Back, in the year 2010, and was well-received by people who reviewed it. Following a three-year absence, Sullivan signed to RCA Records in the year 2015. In 2015 she released the first album of Reality Show. This was her first single to be a top album to appear on the Top R&B Albums charts. Her critically acclaimed album Heaux Tales, which features her hit song "Pickup Your Feelings", was released in 2021. Sullivan has been awarded two Grammy Awards, a Billboard Women in Music Award and three NAACP Image Awards. Time classified her as among their top 100 influential people of 2022.
